Kathy O'Keefe, Owner
My passion for glass started at a very early age. I would collect sea glass and incorporate it in all of my "Art projects". I attended Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington after a few years at the University of Washington. During my early years of marriage and having children I became an Artist Representative for artists from both east and west coasts. I also worked at O’Keefe and Partners, a retained executive search firm. Working with them helped me recognize talent. I became involved with a non-profit art studio in 2010 and my long lost “working with glass” passion was ignited again. I met Alana Marston at this studio and immediately saw what a talented artist and business woman she was. We have teamed up to bring something different to the desert and share our joy and passion.

At this point in my life I am so lucky to be able to follow my passion. I started my career at Nordstrom managing fine jewelry. Then I moved on to bank management, years of public service and owning my own businesses. I realized that my real love was doing something creative and was given a chance to manage a non-profit art studio. While managing the studio and teaching many classes, I found that glass fusing was my real passion. I also knew there was a need in our desert to help the local artists show and sell their work. Kathy and I are happy to be able to provide a space that can accomplish this opportunity for the community.
